I carry out face-to-face assessments at my home in South Buckinghamshire. I am willing to travel to schools within the selected area on the map in Assessments. Please contact me for further details and travel costs.
Dyscalculia is thought to affect approximately 5% of the population. Whilst research into its causes are about 30 years behind that of dyslexia, dyscalculia is generally referred to as a specific learning difficulty in maths, in particular arithmetic.
I have been a primary school teacher since 2001, teaching across all age ranges. I am Head of Maths at a prep school and I have enjoyed this role for the last nine years. In 2023 I achieved my Postgraduate Diploma (Dyscalculia) with Edge Hill University and then my Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) from Patoss.
This is a shorter assessment that incorporates an online screener and tests to assess attainment in Maths and number sense. It takes approximately 2 hours.
Details of my fees can be found lower down on the main Assessments page.
